College Scholarships

Once again scholarships will be offered through the Mission Endowment Fund to all GELC members who are high school seniors and those who will be post-secondary students in the 2024-2025 school year. The amount of each scholarship will be $2,000.

   

The deadline for returning the scholarship form to the church office must be Sunday, May 5. Stop by or call the church office to get the form. We will also have the forms available on the Youth Bulletin Board next to the Youth R

Have you ever watched a train of dominoes falling one after another after another? It's pretty satisfying to watch how one domino falling can create the whole train to fall! Gethsemane Angel Coordinators

The Gethsemane Angel program is a way that we, as a congregation, are organizing ourselves in service to the Lord. We ask every person to volunteer to serve during one month of the year with a “Team of Angels” to provide all the help that is needed for worship services. 

Each month the Angel Coordinator schedules the Angels with what is needed to be done. We are looking for 3 more Angel Coordinators for the months of March, April and October.

Winter is still here! We are grateful that you are continuing to contribute to our Community Clothesline.

Do you have extra jackets, shirts, sweatshirts, pants, shoes, T-shirts, etc? Any type of clothing will be helpful. 

You can help your neighbors by putting each item in a plastic bag to keep it dry, labeling it (for example, “child hat, size M” or “men’s jacket, size XL”), and clip it anywhere on the ‘clothesline’ [on the fence] on the west side of the church. The Communi
